Improving Every Day
I wanted to talk for just a minute today about the importance of improving every day. One potential pitfall that threatens every leader as well as restaurateur and business owner is complacency. If you opt out of learning it will seriously stunt your ability to grow as a restaurateur, as a leader. Successful leaders really set the example by seeking out areas that they can improve every day. They, of course, acknowledge their successes and celebrate milestones but they find that their time is better spent focusing on making improvements in all areas of their business. So this mindset as well really does trickle down to your staff
so be proudly obsessed with being better tomorrow than you are today.
